Senior Director Art Murray specializes in the leasing, acquisition and disposition of corporate properties and manages site location work and build-to-suit projects for local, national and international firms. Art has leased or sold over 20M sq. ft. of industrial properties, utilizing his extensive lease negotiation experience to serve corporate tenants for their warehouse, industrial, R&D and office space needs.

Art has developed numerous facilities for corporations on a fee development basis, managing the site location, site due diligence, architect and engineer engagement, bidding the project to GC’s and bringing the project to completion.

Active in Atlanta real estate brokerage since 1972, Art has served this industry in a variety of positions:  

• Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC): Board of Directors, Michael Hickey Award Recipient
• CoreNet Global (Formerly IDRC): Chair of Associate Members, Board of Directors, Master Professional
• Atlanta Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club: Permanent Life Member
• State Association of Realtors: Active Member
• Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors: Active Member  

Art’s contributions to community extends beyond the CRE industry. He serves as the President of the Azalea Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society, volunteers with Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue, and is a member of the Atlanta Athletic Club. 

Art earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management (BSIM) from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration in Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also studied at the Goethe Institute and the Technical University of Hannover, both in the Federal Republic of Germany. 

Traveling and golfing with his wife, reading, and gardening are a few of Art’s favorite activities as well as volunteering to place rescue dogs and building model airplanes.
