Grant Thompson
Associate Director
Grant Thompson is an Associate Director at Lavista Associates, Inc., where he specializes in Industrial tenant and landlord representation. He is committed to helping clients identify opportunities through thoughtful market research, financial analysis, and a relationship-driven approach while building a strong foundation in commercial real estate.
Prior to joining Lavista, Grant interned with Sweetwater Holdings Company, where he conducted market analysis, prepared investment committee materials, and supported underwriting and acquisition efforts across multiple property types. These experiences strengthened his analytical skills and provided valuable exposure to the commercial real estate investment process.
Grant earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Washington and Lee University, where he also studied abroad in Seville, Spain, immersing himself in Spanish language and culture. During his time at Washington and Lee, he volunteered as an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tutor, helping native Spanish speakers strengthen their English proficiency.
An Atlanta native, Grant is involved with YoungLife and Westside Presbyterian Church. Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, playing the piano, spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, and taking walks with his dog, Gus. A lifelong runner, he recently completed an Olympic-distance triathlon.
