Melissa Ropp
Controller
Melissa Ropp serves as Lavista’s Controller and is responsible for accounting functions that support the brokerage, property management, leasing and contract departments. She oversees a team of accountants and bookkeepers and manages the financial operations including budgeting, treasury management, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis. Melissa also performs payroll functions, prepares tax returns, maintains accounting software and solves tax and accounting related issues.
Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science at GJ College. She has participated with CREW Atlanta and Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA).
Personally, Melissa enjoys spending time with her daughter, son and son-in-law and her many pets. She’s also a skilled woodworker, creating custom furniture for family and friends.
