Dean R. Weaver
Vice President Property Management
With Lavista for more than 35 years, Vice President of Property Management Dean Weaver leads a team of property managers who serve retail, office and warehouse properties.
He oversees all property management operations, including maintenance, collections, accounting, tenant relations and property improvements. Working closely with leasing personnel, Dean assists in the procurement of new tenants and renewal of existing tenants; he also oversees all construction, including tenant improvements and building renovations.
Dean’s in-depth experience with both high-profile, national companies and local independent businesses uniquely positions him to understand and promptly respond to tenant’s needs. He has advised major institutional owners regarding the construction, renovation, operating and marketing of their commercial assets. His extensive construction management experience includes overseeing tenant build-outs, renovations and additional capital improvements.
Dean is an active member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, BOMA and ICSC. He’s served on his neighborhood HOA board and volunteered for The Special Olympics and Hosea Helps. Dean earned his Bachelor of Science in Management at Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was a four-year football letterman, winning the Tech Way Award.
Dean coached Gwinnett County youth sports, including girls’ basketball and softball and boys’ football, basketball and baseball. He plays T2 tennis and participates in several ALTA tennis teams and is also active in his church.
