As President of Lavista Associates, Zack Gober oversees the operations of the firm, including business development, recruiting and professional development. Zack actively brokers investment sale transactions and mixed-use developments throughout the Southeast, striving to assist Lavista clients on transactions that build and preserve financial freedom.

During his 15-year real estate career, Zack has led the stabilization, management, leasing, accounting and sales of over 400 properties and closed $500 million in deals with local and national investors, developers, operators, brokers and bankers.

Zack’s commercial real estate experience includes:

  • Managing the marketing and sales of income-producing properties; implementing the client’s short- and long-term plans; growing owner equity through leasing, structured capital costs and accounts receivables
  • Creating value-add opportunities for higher and better use through land assemblage, rezoning and entitlements, and municipal concessions and abatements, to maximize the client’s bottom line
  • Representing buyers and sellers nationwide in the 1031 market looking to gain returns or remove risks and avoid capital gains taxes through the relinquishment and replacement of commercial properties

Zack began his business career with BB&T’s Commercial Credit Division. His community involvement includes serving on the Buckhead Coalition Executive Committee, the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors Governmental Affairs Committee, Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC), and BOMA. He serves as Chairperson for the City of Atlanta’s Neighborhood Planning Unit – C in Northwest Buckhead (NPU), as well as on the Atlanta Planning (APAB) and the Atlanta Beltline Tax Allocation District (TAD) advisory boards.

An Atlanta native, Zack earned his college education at the University of Georgia. He loves spending time with his wife, two children and extended family. Zack enjoys traveling, cooking, golfing, playing tennis, taking local lake trips, and watching the Bulldogs and Braves.

Don Perry has been active in commercial real estate services throughout metropolitan Atlanta and Georgia since 1972, with over $4 billion in transactional experience representing corporate and institutional clients. As CEO, Don manages Lavista’s overall operations, focusing on growth and driving profitability. A 52-year industry veteran, Don is an experienced deal maker, proficient in sophisticated negotiation, strategic decision making, and authentic relationship building.

Don’s breadth of work includes:

  • project management and leasing experience for financial institutions and institutional investors
  • extensive lease negotiation experience for corporate office and industrial tenants
  • problem property workout for lenders
  • corporate facility site location and sales for local, regional, national and international firms
  • industrial and office park fee development
  • retail, industrial and office building projects for institutional investors

Don has over 2,000 acres of industrial, office and residential land development experience plus 50 years of land disposition experience. He’s also conducted over 200 office, industrial and retail investment property sales transactions throughout Georgia.

Don participates in the Chief Executives Organization and World Presidents Organization. He is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and State and National Association of Realtors. He actively works with the Local Chambers of Commerce, serves as a Boy Scouts – Atlanta Area Council Board Member, and sits on the Callaway Gardens Foundation Board of Trustees.

Don earned his Bachelor of Civil Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and his Master of Business Administration in Finance at University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
